About WebApps (Back to Top)

WebApps are small programs created to enhance your Insight Mail experience, mostly by integrating third-party information and content with Insight Mail features. For starters WebApps let you interact with different types of content within your email messages:

Below are descriptions of other WebApps available from the Overview pane.

 

SPAM Settings Chooser (Back to Top)

This WebApp removes unwanted email from your inbox based on how likely it is to be junk mail or clean mail. You can adjust your preferences to high, medium, or low depending on how permissive or restrictive you want to be. For more on this subject, select SPAM WebApp FAQs at the main menu.

 

Tasks Reminder (Back to Top)

This WebApp lets you set reminders about tasks you have to do. Once a day (after first login), it searches for Tasks (including shared Tasks) and displays a list of all Tasks that are overdue, in-progress, etc. This list is shown only for Tasks that are due 2 weeks (14 days) from today's date, and it will continue to show a Task for 2-weeks past due-date. The number of days is configurable.

This WebApp allows you to perform several maintenance tasks on your Address Book to help better organize contacts.

Email Reminder (Back to Top)

This WebApp enables you to set a reminder on emails. It displays an "Email Reminder Setup" dialog whenever you flag an email or conversation. The dialog allows you to create an email reminder. You can also drag-and-drop the email onto the WebApp to create a reminder.

 

Dictionary Plus (Back to Top)

Click on Dictionary Plus to open up one compact tool that lets you look up a word in a three key references: dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopedia.

 

Color-Coded Emails (Back to Top)

This WebApp allows you to highlight and color emails in your inbox based on the sender email address or message tags. Clicking on the WebApp opens up a dialog box that lets you specify an email address and select colors (foreground and background) to highlight. Each time you receive an email from that email address, the message will be highlighted.
